It’s all about making the perfect match and encouraging people to rescue rather than buy! We will rehome to families with children etc and people with cats, other dogs but everything is done on an individual basis and if we have suitable dogs.
PLEASE NOTE WE CURRENTLY ONLY REHOME IN THE GREATER MANCHESTER AREA and HOME CHECKS apply.

It is a months trial for you to see if the chosen one is the right dog for you and although we hope you’ll find a match made in heaven a full, lifetime, rescue backup applies.
Ray – smaller than he looks in this pic – beagle size back after being adopted 4 years ago — lovely boy good with people and dogs – looking for a child free home.
Lucky isn’t living up to his name. One of the most beautiful souls he has so much love to give. From Afghanistan, where he lived a life of fear, to UK through a different rescue but he was unable to walk on a lead and had many fears. We stepped in and he has come so far he is like a normal pet. About 5 yrs old can live with dogs and cats, he just needs someone patient and gentle who will give him space to gain his trust. No separation issues, house clean and has had many wonderful foster homes along the way.
Jessie needs a very experienced home, probably female only. She guards the couch, is stubborn, cheeky and reactive. But other times she’s wonderful, loving and sweet. No kids or cats she can go with other dogs but needs someone with breed experience and experience of dogs with issues.
Parsnip – 18 months would love a home with another dog. Shy girl medium sized.
Nervous of men and people she doesn’t know initially and may woof in fear but the most loyal loving dog when she gets to know you. She’s had a tough start to life but now one of the happiest dogs we have here.
Kaiser is only young. He’s good with dogs but not many dogs can cope with him. He’s great in the home, strong on the lead but clever and can be trained. He’s non destructive, no separation issues. No kids due to his size. He’s loving and sweet but needs someone confident who can help him stay calm as he is a dopey big puppy.
Jack – 3 ish medium sized boy who has come so far. The bravest soul who has overcome his fears and is ready for a home. He needs someone kind, confident and patient. Loves other dogs, fine with cats, quiet home to help him settle, just needs more practise on walks and he’s perfect. NOT a jack russell.
Remo a wonderful old boy who is great with all – 8 to 10 years old we are struggling to place him yet he is great on lead and in the home and so loving. We hope someone gives him his happy ending soon.
Leah – only 2 yrs she’s lived almost her whole life in kennels and become reactive because of it. We are working on her retraining but it will be an ongoing project. Special home needed with no other pets or kids. She is clever, kind and has so much to give. Please someone give her the chance she has waited her lifetime for. She just needs someone who is used to helping a reactive dog and I’m sure with patience and consistency she will be a brilliant pet. She was fear aggressive to dogs when she arrived here and now lives in a pack of 40.
Alex (left), 18 months – large boy who has terrible fears from his puppy days. We have taken him in and continue to work on him. So loving and sweet but huge fear of strangers especially in the home. He needs someone patient with a will to retrain him. He loves other dogs and is fine with most cats. No kids as he needs a lot of work. A very clever and loving boy he will be worth the effort.
Alfie – about 3 yrs would like a one person home or someone who can retrain him from his fears of having visitors / other people in the home. He’s the perfect dog in all other ways – but he has learned a behaviour from his previous home which has so far stopped him getting a home. He’s perfect here it’s so hard to understand. A special person needed. Love all dogs – but no kids or cats for him in the home.
Bram gets different reports from his foster placement. Needs an adult only home. He is fine with dogs & cats, house clean and good on walks in the most part. Has a fear of strangers, he needs a lot of patience , tlc and someone who has experience of dogs with fears responses and who can retrain him.
Stuart – an old lad of about 10 who lived his life on the streets. He loves it here and had become institutionalised so needs someone who will take it slow getting him used to a new home. Wants to be an only pet – definitely no cats.
