Scruffbum Freckles (as she is affectionately known) is a big character at Dogs 4 Rescue. She has been with us for several years undergoing rehabilitation and we are delighted to announce that she is now ready to make the transition into a home!
Freckles will need a quiet home with someone who is going to take the time to get to know her little quirks and let her come out of her shell when she is ready. An adult only household with little visitors would suit her best.
Freckles is currently spending time with our wonderful Daycare 4 Dogs family where she enjoys the company of other dogs. We are looking for home with a confident but calm dog who will help guide her. She is yet to be cat tested.
Freckles is nervous of new people and she may nip if she feels threatened so an experienced owner is essential.
She is a real foodie so it does not take long to gain her trust, providing that you allow her to come to you.
Once Freckles is comfortable with you her cheeky personality really shines through and although it will take some time we can guarantee you that winning this girl’s heart will be so rewarding!
She requires careful handling so grooming has to be done slowly and in stages, although this is something that our Daycare family will continue to assist with providing that she is rehomed locally.
It has been a long process getting Freckles used to walking on lead and she is still not 100% comfortable with this so a home with a large secure garden is needed so that she does not need to be walked whilst she settles.
