Fostering Saves Lives
The rescue world is experiencing an unprecedented crisis and fostering literally saves lives.
You may have some free time, not be able to afford a dog or want a bit of companionship without the long-term commitment.
Many of our dogs can go with other dogs and fostering can be a great way to explore if your dog might enjoy a friend.
We provide everything – food, bowls, bedding, walking gear and toys as well as continuing to cover all veterinary care.
All you need to do is open your heart and home to them.
We are looking for short and long-term fosters for dogs recuperating from an operation and dogs who need a break from busy life here.
Fostering can help an overseas dog learn to live in a home, at the same time helping us to reduce numbers at the rescue for a few days or even long-term, making room for more dogs in desperate need.
For those experienced with reactive dogs we can get invaluable feedback on how the dogs cope away from here.
We keep all our fosters local to the Greater Manchester area so we are always on hand to help.
However long they stay, you will have been an important part of that dog’s journey to their forever home.
