In October we put out a request on our Facebook page for an artificial grass company to help us urgently. Our Irlam site is located on a very high water table and some areas there are unusable in the winter without artificial grass due to the thick mud that develops. Lollipop and Odin love a muddy play now and again – but it’s not good for their bums and tails to be in sloppy mud for long periods. It also makes life so difficult for our hardworking staff and creates so much extra cleaning everywhere.
Within a week Salford Red Devils RLFC very kindly turned up with an enormous piece of artificial grass, which has completely transformed the ferals’ caravan garden. We were then contacted by the lovely Cheshire Artificial Grass who have donated a large amount of artificial grass which has massively helped us to get some of our mud challenges under control.
