Red - Dogs 4 Rescue

Red

More about Red

Beautiful Red is a happy, friendly and playful girl.

Sweet and affectionate, Red always has a smile on her face. She’s a typical staffy who thrives off affection, she just loves cuddles and will nuzzle under your arm, it is the sweetest thing!

Red is a real foodie which makes training a breeze, she’s super bright and picks things up quickly.
Red’s biggest joy in life is playing with toys, red toys are her favourite and she loves tennis balls.
She also likes chew toys which will keep her occupied for hours and she will happily settle in a crate.

She is really good in the car and would love to join you on an adventure!

Red mixes well with other dogs and could live with a compatible dog in her new home, she cannot live with cats as she will try to chase them. She’s also very interested in squirrels on walks and will pull when she sees them so will need some further training with this.

Red is currently spending some time in foster where she has settled in wonderfully. As she is only a youngster she can have the odd toilet accident so will need some patience with this although she is improving every day.
She would benefit from a home with someone around for most of the day.

An active home with bull breed experience would suit Red best. She could live with older, sensible children aged 12+.

Adoption fee: £250

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
