Ozzy - Dogs 4 Rescue

Ozzy

More about Ozzy

Ozzy is a fantastic dog who is goofy, lovable, playful and loyal.

His favourite things are toys and cuddles – he’s also a real water baby!

Ozzy is a sensitive soul who can be nervous around new people so needs a gentle approach but as soon as he has spent some time figuring you out he will be your best friend and will give you his whole heart once he trusts you.

He is a bright boy who loves food which makes a great tool for training and providing enrichment. He’s very clever, knows exactly what you expect of him and is eager to please. He’s a real happy go lucky boy who is affectionate and loving.

We are looking for an experienced owner for Ozzy, he needs a safe and comfortable home with minimal visitors in a quiet environment. He is crate and muzzled trained which makes it easy to manage him if visitors do need to come to the home.

We would like to find Ozzy an adult only home, ideally with another confident dog who he can learn from as he loves to run and play with other dogs but he has requested a cat free home!

Ozzy needs someone who has the patience and is willing to put in the time to build up on his impulse control. He is easily excitable so needs to learn some boundaries but he’s really good at this. He’s a young boy with so much potential and will be a great dog for the right person.

Adoption fee: £250

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
