Midnight is currently spending time with our daycare family while he builds confidence and learns to walk on lead. So far, he has braved one outing on lead, but he’s still incredibly nervous and skittish, easily worried by people and moving traffic. In quieter areas he’s much braver and keen to explore.
He absolutely needs someone experienced with nervous dogs, who can help him grow at his own pace. A confident dog in the home is essential to help him feel safe and secure, and a fully secure garden is a must.
Midnight is a quiet, sensitive soul with a gentle spirit. Naturally timid and nervous, he prefers to observe the world from the side lines – but there’s a spark of curiosity in him that’s growing every day. He’s beginning to show us that he wants to be brave, and with the right person by his side, he absolutely can be.
He’s looking for an experienced, patient owner who understands that confidence takes time. He’ll need a slow and steady approach, but once he trusts you, you’ll be rewarded with the most heartwarming glimpses of his personality.
Where Midnight truly comes alive is around other dogs. He absolutely thrives in their company – becoming playful, animated, and full of charm. Having a calm, confident dog friend in the home will be key to helping him continue his journey. He is yet to be cat tested.
He may be shy now, but we can already see the playful, loving dog he’s meant to be.
