Lil - Dogs 4 Rescue

Lil

More about Lil

Lil is a wonderful, polite and gentle girl. She is friendly and affectionate with everyone she meets, with the loving nature of a Staffy, while still having the characteristic independence of a Shar-Pei. She has the most beautiful frosty face and a lovely personality to match.

Lil is used to living in a home and is house clean. She doesn’t chew and knows lots of tricks, so she is a bright girl who enjoys learning and spending time with her people. In the home she is low maintenance, a steady sweet girl who loves nothing more than cuddles on the sofa. She isn’t really interested in toys or playing, she’s just happy to be with you.

She enjoys a good walk and is muzzle trained, which makes getting out and about with her nice and straightforward. She can be wary around dogs she doesn’t know, so we feel she would be happiest living as the only dog in a calm home where she can have some space and time to settle at her own pace. She cannot live with cats.
Lil can live with older, sensible teenagers aged 16+.

Lil is a lovely, steady girl who has lots to offer the right family and will make a fabulous companion.

Adoption fee: £250

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
