Hannah is a beautiful, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She has come a long way already and is currently in foster care, where she is making slow but steady progress at her own pace.
Hannah is still a nervous and easily worried dog, so she will need a calm, quiet home with an experienced adopter who understands shy or under-confident dogs. She is not suitable for a busy household or one with young children, as she can become overwhelmed by too much noise or activity.
She would benefit greatly from living with at least one confident, well-balanced dog. Hannah takes reassurance from other dogs and really looks to them for guidance, following their lead and learning from their confidence. She absolutely loves being around other dogs and finds a lot of her joy in gentle play and companionship.
A secure garden is essential for Hannah, as she is still skittish and not yet fully confident on walks. Her outdoor confidence will need to be built gradually, at her own pace, in a safe and supportive environment.
With people, Hannah is sweet, quiet, and gentle. She is beginning to show more of her personality in foster, starting to engage more and occasionally wagging her little stump of a tail. She enjoys being stroked but can still be quite on edge, often choosing to tuck herself away in a safe, quiet space when she needs reassurance.
Hannah is not yet cat tested.
Overall, Hannah is a lovely, delicate girl who needs time, patience, and understanding. In the right home, with a calm environment and a confident canine companion, she will continue to grow in confidence and begin to show the wonderful dog she is becoming.
