Elsie is currently spending time with our wonderful daycare family, where she is making fantastic progress with her rehabilitation. She is beginning to engage with the staff, enjoying gentle strokes on her own terms and has absolutely excelled with her lead training. She has even enjoyed sleepovers with the team, and it’s lovely to see her confidence growing as she starts to blossom.
She continues to take great comfort from the other dogs around her, learning from them and gaining confidence through their companionship. Elsie is also good with cats, which is another lovely bonus!
Although she has come such a long way, Elsie still needs a patient, understanding home that will allow her to continue building confidence at her own pace. Due to her nervous nature and high flight risk, we are looking for an experienced home with a secure garden and at least one confident resident dog to help guide her.
Elsie is a special girl with so much potential, and watching her begin to trust people and discover new things has been incredibly rewarding. With the right support, time and understanding, we know she will continue to blossom.
Foster homes will also be considered.
