Belle is a sweet, gentle, shy and wonderfully calm girl who is happiest when life is quiet, peaceful and predictable. She is a very friendly girl who absolutely loves fuss, cuddles and being close to her people. She also loves nothing more than being cosy and warm, curled up somewhere comfortable and enjoying the quiet life.
Belle has always been a girl who really thrives in a calm environment, but since the arrival of young children, life within the home has understandably become much busier, noisier and more chaotic. Although Belle is brilliant around the children and has always been a very friendly girl, the increased stress within the home has unfortunately resulted in her clashing with the other dog. For this reason, we feel Belle would be much happier in a home where she can be the only dog and enjoy the peace and security she so appreciates.
Being the only dog at home doesn’t mean Belle doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs. She loves socialising with dogs when out on walks and is very happy to meet and interact with them in that environment. However, we feel she would benefit from having her own space at home without another dog to share it with. Belle would ideally be suited to a quieter home with older, sensible children who will understand her gentle and slightly shy nature and allow her the time and space to settle at her own pace.
Belle is clean and non-destructive in the home and can be left alone for several hours, making her a lovely, easy-going companion. She is not a fan of loud bangs or sudden noises, so a peaceful household away from too much noise and commotion would suit her perfectly. She has not been cat tested, so her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.
We are looking for a very special home for Belle where she can leave behind the stress of a busy household and enjoy the calm, settled life she deserves. She has so much love and affection to give and, once she feels comfortable, she is a wonderfully loving companion who will adore being fussed over and snuggling up with her people.
Belle is a gentle girl with a beautiful nature, and we know that somewhere out there is the quiet, loving home where she can finally relax, feel completely secure and be her happiest self.
