Please be sure you are in a position to commit to a dog for life. Things to consider include veterinary care, insurance costs, time and patience to invest in your dog, daily exercise, plans for holiday care etc.

Please be honest when filling out the application form. It will help us make the best match for you (and your furfamily) and save us all time. Please be sure to tell us about any experience you may have with frightened dogs or reactive dogs.

It’s important to think about your home, garden + lifestyle. And note that often larger dogs are calmer/more easy going than smaller ones, so it’s not always the size of your space, but more the energy of the dog.

Again, think about energy levels and demands, especially of younger dogs. Although most people think its better to get a younger dog there are countless benefits to the older dog; house trained, character formed, behaviour apparent, less training demands on time and energy to name a few) 😊

Think about your own lifestyle and how you want the dog to fit in. If you hike/walk/run etc. a high energy dog is great, but if you prefer a more sedentary lifestyle we can find a calmer, more chilled out dog for you.
