Jago - Dogs 4 Rescue

Jago

More about Jago

Pocket Rocket Jago is a real cool dude with bucket loads of personality!
A cross between a Jack Russell Terrier and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Jago has the characteristics of both breeds. He’s bold, energic and intelligent but equally sweet, lovable and a real couch potato.

Jago emits a happy, joyful energy. You can’t help but smile when you are around him.
Wherever he is you will be sure to find his beloved ball next to him.

He’s a friendly boy who enjoys greeting new people but does need his own space.

Jago is a sensitive boy who can become easily stressed, particularly when there is a lot of commotion. His coping mechanism is to chase his tail. This has become a learnt behaviour for Jago and so he needs a calm, quiet environment.
He has made some mistakes in his previous home, details of which will be discussed in full with anyone who enquires.

We are looking for an experienced home for Jago, ideally a single person household without young children (including visiting children).

Jago enjoys the company of other dogs but is also quite independent so could live as an only dog. He is also cat friendly – what a superstar!

Adoption fee: £250

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
