Emma has worked with dogs for years now and has embarked on a mission to help rescue dogs from Bulgaria and Cyprus. The dogs she rescues are so mistreated, most are within inches of losing their lives. Some have been purposely shot and beaten. These dogs are rescued from death row. She works with rescue centres to ensure the dogs get treatment, are transported to the UK, nursed back to full health and then found a forever home. It is a long and difficult process, one which Emma and Lou now dedicate every minute of their lives to achieve, but it’s awe-inspiring.
