Murana - Dogs 4 Rescue

Murana

More about Murana

Murana is a special, vulnerable girl who was born with severe front leg deformities.

Despite her disability Murana is the happiest soul, she can be timid and shy initially but she’s got a beautiful temperament.
She’s so friendly and trusting.

Murana has seen our orthopaedics vet but sadly there is nothing that can be done surgically to improve Murana’s condition.
Murana can still get around to the best of her abilities but she will not be suitable for long walks. A home with a large garden would be ideal for her to potter around in.
She’s a heavy girl so will need someone capable of moving her and lifting her when needed.

Murana has recently spent some time in foster where she settled in really well, following in the steps of the other dogs in the home and learning how to play. She has such a real zest for life it’s truly heart warming to see.
Murana would benefit from living with another dog and she also has the potential to live with cats.

She would be best suited to a home with older, sensible children aged 12+

Foster homes also considered.

Adoption fee: £250

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
