Ginger - Dogs 4 Rescue

Ginger

More about Ginger

Ginger is a happy, fun loving girl. She’s friendly, sociable and super affectionate!

She is a well-mannered girl who is laid back and easy going but be warned – she does take up half of the sofa when she spreads out!

Ginger’s favourite time of the day is going on a walk. She sits patiently when you put her lead on but will paw and talk to
you if you don’t have your shoes and coat on in time! She literally sounds like she is telling you to get a move on!

She is intelligent and picks up on commands quickly. She loves learning new tricks!

Ginger is good with other dogs but has displayed resource guarding around dogs in a home environment, therefore she will need to be the only dog in the home. Whilst she loves to play with some dogs she can be reactive towards others on walks so would benefit from an experienced owner. She has shown potential to live with cats.

Ginger would be best suited to an active home with someone around for most of the day. She could live with older, sensible teens aged 16+.

Adoption fee: £300

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
