Diva Daphne loves to be the star of the show and the centre of your world.

As soon as you walk in she will greet you with the biggest smile and a happy bum shake.

She only has one ear but has superpower hearing, rustle a bag of treats and this girl will come running. Her love of food helps with training.

Daphne needs either a long-term foster home or a patient forever home, to help her with her rehabilitation.

She still cannot tolerate anything around her neck due to whatever trauma she experienced before being saved.

We are working on desensitivity with the collar which ideally you would continue, we will advise on her rehabilitation exercises.

She adores home life and having a garden, and has enjoyed several fosters. She can live with other dogs but is also happy as the only dog in the home.  

Daphne is all about girl power and feels safer with women. She needs an all female, adult only home with a secure garden as she cannot yet go on walks.

The time you put into this girl will be incredibly rewarding and her love for those who show her kindness shines through.

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system. 

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions. 

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors. 

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets. 

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
