Coyote Beautiful

More about Coyote Beautiful

Coyote Beautiful (as she is affectionately known) is a fantastic character, she is a quirky girl with the most unusual symmetrical nose!
She can be nervous around new people but has been spending time in foster where she has proven to be the sweetest, most affectionate dog. She is a very cheeky girl who will keep you entertained.

Coyote’s foster mum said she is the most gentle dog she’s ever known, her favourite thing in the world is giving kisses – it makes her so happy! She loves being close to her foster mum and is happiest when lying next to her.

Coyote is quiet in the house, she doesn’t bark but did initially chew when she was anxious although this has since settled down.
She does not appear to have any separation anxiety and can be left alone for several hours, her foster mum gives her a chew which helps her to settle and then she sleeps afterwards.

Coyote has been sharing her foster home with a female dog as she really enjoys the company of other dogs.
They play, cuddle and regularly share each others food with no issue.
We feel that Coyote would be best suited to a home with at least 1 other dog of a confident temperament as she does look to the other dog for guidance when she is unsure of a situation, especially on walks or when there are visitors in the home.
She is yet to be cat tested but this can be arranged.Coyote is worried of new people but she can be won over with some squirty cheese or liver paste.
As she is initially nervous a quiet home with older, sensible children aged 16+ would suit her best.
She is very laid back and adaptable, she will happily spend the day snuggled in bed giving lots of kisses but will equally enjoy going on a 5 mile group walk with up to 20 strangers.

Coyote does require ongoing help with toilet training so her new family would need to be patient and prepared for accidents in the home. She is nervous of going to the toilet in front of people so it is tricky to get her to go outside but she is making progress with lots of encouragement.

Her foster mum describes her as an absolute sweetheart who will make the most amazing addition to the family. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her, with the right person to build her confidence she is going to be an amazing dog!

About our dogs

Our dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, flea & wormed and have full travel documents where appropriate. If they are arriving from overseas they will have had all the pre-travel tests as required by DEFRA and are transported through the TRACES system.

We pride ourselves on being honest and open about our dogs, sharing all we know about them including any known behaviour challenges or medical conditions.

Like all responsible rescues we offer Lifetime Rescue Back Up to all the dogs who come through our doors.

One month trial

We want our dogs to be happy in their homes for life, which is why we offer a full one month trial. As they start to relax and their personalities shine through you’ll know if your home life suits and how they get along with any other pets.

If it’s not the right fit, they can come back to rescue and get straight back to playing, and we will try to find you a more suitable match. There aren’t enough homes out there so please don’t give up if your first dog doesn’t work out.
Please let us know which dog you're interested in adopting. Have a question for us? Ask away.
